About Me

I'm a software engineer in Birmingham, AL, or more specifically Homewood, AL, just trying to make things happen and learn a little along the way. I'm a member of Mountain Brook Community Church and have a growing family, though still more pets than kids (no longer true due to additional procreation). I really enjoy playing basketball and golf whenever I can find the time. Sometimes I'm too full of Bama and annoy my barner friends, but we (always?) remain friends afterwards.

About this site

Over the years, atcrawford.com has gone through a number of phases. It's been used for everything from setting and tracking new years resolutions to reviewing online personal finance tools. The latest goal for the site is just to provide a place for me to make long(er) form observations about things that I generally tweet about. These things will likely be tech or Bama sports related. Sometimes 140 characters just isn't enough, so that's where this site comes in.
